The AFRL Space Vehicles Directorate seeks to hire a technical Program Manager in the Small Satellite Portfolio (RVEN) at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM for the University Nanosatellite Program (UNP). The ideal candidate will have experience in university outreach, strong understanding of systems engineering principles and managing cost, schedule, and performance. Other experience that will be key for a successful applicant will be previous experience acquiring and leveraging funds from various government organizations while engaging with contractors on exploratory and new capabilities to transition proven methods external to the government. The job also involves close coordination with Branch and higher-level portfolio leads, experimentalists, and scientists to ensure new technology efforts align with planned development roadmaps.
