Job Description The Customer Support Representative position is responsible for working complex customer payment and payment exceptions from TXU Energy payment partners, work queue achievement, service level achievement (SLA) metrics performance, and completing operational compliance controls. This position will ensure the accurate and timely posting of payments utilizing tools provided. Position will also communicate with customers and vendors as necessary. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Research, balance and post customer payments utilizing vendor web portal, reporting, and CARE. * Save, evaluate, and trend vendor reporting and tracking. * Suggest and support systemic work destruction/improvement opportunities. * Perform in accordance with company policy and regulatory guidelines. * Partner with payment vendors and internal partners to resolve payment exceptions. * Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE The minimum education requirements are: * High school diploma or GED equivalent * College hours preferred The minimum experience requirements are: * 1+ years of experience in a role pertaining to Accounting or Accounts Payable/Receivable * Relevant Job-related experience preferred SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES The following knowledge, skills and capabilities must be demonstrated at a proficient level: * Attention to detail * Heavy use of computer and/or telephone * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues/cases; independently * Strong computer application skills * Work in a fast-paced professional environment * Strong analytical, root cause and decision-making skills * Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously * Develop adhoc reports/spreadsheets * Ability to read, interpret and apply policies, procedures and processes Job Family Customer Service Company TXU Retail Services Company Locations Irving, Texas Texas We are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
