The reporting specialist is responsible for a number of duties that may include preparing monthly, quarterly and annual business plan presentations, review cost targets and forecasts, prepare and review asset disposals and assist with other finance and accounting roles within the function.
This position requires the use of all Microsoft Products to produce presentations, understand cost targets, review general ledger data relating to company assets and prepare general communications.
This position is involved with the monthly balancing and closing of the company’s financials. This position has the potential to rotate with other co-op positions within the function to gain more experience.
Working toward a BS/BA in a business field (accounting, finance, economics etc.).
Proficient in MS Office applications and excellent customer service.
Must have strong financial analysis skills.
Proficient understanding of accounting principles.
Knowledge of F&A information systems and reporting tools (Longview, Oracle General Ledger, OBI/Financial Data Mart).
Ability to identify and lead process improvement opportunities.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple tasks successfully and possess good planning and organizational skills.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
