OPERATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
AbbVie's Operations Development Program (ODP) is a global three-year rotational leadership development program. Throughout the three diverse and challenging twelve-month rotations , the ODP member will develop exceptional functional and leadership traits by working on a wide range of projects while providing exposure to different leaders in the company. The program provides developmental experiences that places aspiring professionals on a fast track to future operations leadership opportunities at AbbVie.
You will spend three years as a full-time salary employee in the program, completing three separate professional work assignments geared towards the following potential opportunities:
Engineering
Manufacturing
Quality
Science & Technology
Purchasing and Supplier Management
Supply Chain
LOCATIONS:
Program Members will be placed in one of the following U.S. locations for their first rotation. Mobility is an important aspect that plays a role in the development of participants. As a participant, you may be expected to relocate for two (2) of your three (3) rotations as you move through the program. Please share your location preferences with your recruiter.

There may be an opportunity for a global assignment in the following countries for your second (2nd) or third (3rd) assignment:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - UNITED STATES (U.S.) AND PUERTO RICO:
Must be currently enrolled in university and completing your final year of a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Must graduate with a bachelor’s degree prior to the intended full-time start date.
Must demonstrate leadership skills (i.e., extracurricular activities or projects)
Mobility is a key requirement. Members will be required to experience at least one assignment based in one of our U.S. Operations Plants and will rotate to different sites with each rotation based on business need.
Minimum of one internship or co-op completed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher preferred
Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal skills
Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity
