    Job Description

    Provides sample management support to ligand binding analysis and FACS-based biomarker laboratories. The biological samples are collected from preclinical and clinical studies in various therapeutic areas including but not limited to oncology, neuroscience, immunology, and virology. Independently generate precise, reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner. Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills and should possess understanding of core discipline.

    Responsibilities:

    • Adeptly works with diverse stakeholders to meet business needs.
    • Performs work assignments accurately, and in a timely and safely manner.
    • Safely works with various biological matrices (e.g. serum, plasma, blood and lysates, CSF, etc.) to log shipments and receive samples for clinical and non-clinical trials in accordance with priority and in accordance with SOPs and regulations.
    • Notifies manager and scientist(s) of any abnormal receipt conditions.
    • Ensures sample integrity and end-to-end sample chain of custody including distribution for testing and disposition of biological samples in accordance with SOPs or study plan.
    • Works independently to complete the sample check-in process in the validated laboratory information system.
    • Document and maintain shipment, sample receipt, and condition records in the data management system.
    • Ensures reconciliation of sample information is achieved to deliver assay-ready samples to testing teams.
    • Assists in development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
    • Performs self and peer review of the data for accuracy and compliance, transfer of data to external or internal clinical databases.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and relevant education, with typically 3 or more years’ experience or Master’s Degree or equivalent education
    • Experience in LIMS Systems for sample handling and tracking
    • Able to work in a dynamic environment with detail-oriented record keeping
    • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a consistent basis (may use a cart for heavy loads)
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Experience working in a regulated or GLP environment is a plus
    • Learns fast, grasps the "essence”, and can change course quickly where indicated

    • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​​

    • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​​
