POSITION SUMMARY 

Transform your education and experience into fast-tracked career growth by joining the Environmental, Occupational Health, Safety & Sustainability Rotational Development Program “EOHSSRDP” (within the Law Department Early Career Program), offering a high-performing culture that is made up of a diverse and inclusive workforce. The Environmental, Occupational Health, Safety & Sustainability Rotational Development Program is a two-year, rotational program designed to support diverse professionals by connecting their passion for sustainability and practical environmental, safety and health management while building the broader Law Department's talent pipeline. 

The EOHSSRDP participants will help support dedicated teams including the Go Green, BMS Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety Centers of Excellence and Sustainability teams.  Individuals will work on projects related to waste management, the consumption of natural resources, corporate pollution prevention and green office practices, safety and health programs, etc. This role will also engage with internal stakeholders to develop a framework that will help drive operational, cultural and behavioral changes necessary to support BMS’ sustainability goals.  

We are looking for experienced BA/BS graduates who have a passion for the science in environmental, occupational health, safety and sustainability matters.  The program offers you the flexibility to create your own path through rotational projects aligned with your interests and the company’s most critical needs, allowing for a completely customized developmental experience. Upon completion of the program, qualified associates will have the opportunity to apply for a full-time, non-rotational role that aligns with their personal aspirations and passion for natural sciences, occupational safety, health, and environmental policies making a difference in the lives of patients.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE 

• 2-year full-time rotational program 
• Consisting of customized rotations in different programs like Go Green, Zero Waste to Landfill, Corporate Pollution Prevention, Green Lab, Ergonomics, Risk Assessments, etc. 
• Length of rotations will be flexible and based in the Princeton, NJ area 
• Close-knit, collegial environment

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Graduate with BS degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil, Biochemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Sustainability, Biology, Chemistry and/or other relevant coursework such as natural sciences, environmental policy, or waste management 
• Strong communication skills and a passion for EHS and Sustainability matters  
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience preferred 
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for sponsorship for an employment visa now or in the future
