    Job Description

    This role focuses on coordinating the relocation of occupants and lab equipment within the Lake County office and laboratory buildings, ensuring seamless transitions. Responsibilities include managing logistics, communicating requirements, and optimizing space usage. The position also involves overseeing projects, collaborating with teams, and maintaining accurate documentation to support facility operations.

    Responsibilities:

    •Coordinate the Move Team in executing relocations of occupants and lab equipment.
    •Manage the relocation plan, which includes communicating packing requirements, scheduling move-out dates, and organizing move-ins.
    •Triage and process daily requests for occupants, furniture, and equipment through the BluPrint space management system.
    •Oversee the 2nd Office Assignment Project, ensuring individuals with virtual or secondary office locations have necessary space allocations cleared and returned.
    •Generate reports on outstanding requests for Facility Planners. Develop, maintain, and update process documentation, and perform testing on the relocation upgrade process documentation.
    •Organize and process moves for construction, new hires, and relocations, as scheduled by Global Facilities, Business Technology Solutions (BTS), and Construction Services, using the BluPrint system.
    •Lead weekly Relocation Forecast meetings to review upcoming projects, current project statuses, and internal resource coordination.
    •Attend "day one" of occupant move-ins at specified on-site locations to oversee the process and direct the trade team accordingly.
    •Compile relocation packets for end users and trade teams to set expectations in coordination with Facility Planners.
    •Conduct training sessions for users at all US-based AbbVie locations on operating within the BluPrint system

    Qualifications

    •High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Training Administration, Communications, Health Care Administration, or a related field preferred.
    •At least two years of experience in relocation coordination.
    •Experience with the BluPrint space management system preferred.
    •Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, including advanced skills in MS Excel.
    •Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
    •Willingness to travel between Lake County facilities, with a travel requirement of 5%.
