    Job Description

    R&D Allergan Aesthetics Biological Research is seeking a highly motivated and innovative candidate for the role of Operations Coordinator. The Ops Coordinator will support Aesthetics R&D scientists by managing office spaces, computer hardware and software, and providing general operations support.

    The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the overall AABR research program with responsibilities that include: maintaining an inventory of lab and office computers as well as purchased upgrades and peripherals, and ensuring newly purchased computers are imaged for proper usage; assist with installing new software; tracking software/license and associated costs along with renewal dates; test driving new software to determine applicability and security, then be the SME for new software; create and actively maintain inventory systems; partner with the Operations staff to escort vendors and service technicians during on-site visits, as well as in-take consumables and equipment deliveries.

    The position will support a highly regulated scientific department. The candidate must productively interact with and accept direction from multiple team members in a highly matrixed organization, including EHS, BTS, Engineering, Operations, Facilities, etc.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with AABR scientists to establish and maintain an inventory of computers, peripherals, software, and licenses (including expiration dates and renewal costs).
    • Lead efforts to bring on new software and databases (example LabKey), test applications and security in partnership with BTS, train new users, manage software updates, and serve as first point of contact and subject matter expert when questions arise.
    • Collaborate with Scientific Writer on connecting databases to each other and to RIMS to ensure data is archived according company policy.
    • Coordinate with AABR people managers, BTS, and Operations to prepare cubicles and offices for new hires and/or moves (order cleaning, functional chair, computer set up, monitor, webcam, nameplate, etc) and troubleshoot problems as needed.
    • Provide other Operations support as needed: participate in employee onboarding/exit plan,escort technicians into select agent labs, order lab floor cleaning, assist in receiving deliveries, etc.
    • Attend and participate in lab, team, and departmental meetings.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 1 or more years relevant experience supporting complex, highly regulated activities

    Other Required Skills:

    • Meticulous attention to detail and diligence in record keeping.
    • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to productively communicate with disparate personnel and departments.
    • Exhibits flexibility and a commitment to scientific excellence.
    • Able to quickly become an expert in new software applications and implement new processes. Familiarity with LabKey a plus.
    • Highly motivated, pro-active, hands-on scientist who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

    • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

    • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
