    Job Description

    Purpose:

    Provide leadership, oversight, training, and guidance to Operations Packaging technicians while performing set up activities and achieve vertical start-up. Focus on efficient quality driven Mechanical setups.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership, training and guidance while performing set up activities
    • Provide Intermediate frontline troubleshooting while coming out of setups and during schedule operations
    • Intermediate level Antares and other vision systems
    • Participates in major asset rebuilds with Maintenance and Vendors
    • Independently perform low level Maintenance PM’s
    • Assist with Maintenance tasks including but not limited to; PM’s, troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilds of tooling, Capper chucks, HAPA and other packaging equipment
    • Participates during Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis
    • Accurately documents all work hours and all Maintenance/Setup activities in CMMS (Maximo)
    • Conforms with requirements outlined in the MEP program
    • Ability to complete full setups and train others on Multiple value streams (Blister, bottle, or syringe

    Qualifications

    • Mechanical certificate required or a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industry related field. Knowledge and ability to apply proper hand tools in an industrial setting
    • Proficient in MAXIMO and POMS
    • Knowledge of packaging equipment and set up tooling
    • Knowledge of related cGMP requirements and applicable safety regulations
    • Ability to accurately use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, scales)
    • Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
    • Leadership qualities with emphasis on motivating others on a cross functional team
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
