    Job Description

    Purpose

    Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position.

    Provide the Manufacturing operation with the necessary commodities for production. Transport finished product to the warehouse and complete the appropriate transactions in the SAP system.

    Responsibilities

    List up to 10 main responsibilities for the job. Include information about the accountability and scope.

    • Work with the Line Supervisor to ensure all commodities for the scheduled production runs are transferred to the proper staging area.
    • Act as a liaison between Materials Management and Operations for any bulk, commodity, or finished product issues or concerns.
    • Service the production lines by keeping product hoppers maintained with the proper amount of bulk in order to eliminate downtime.
    • Work in a safe manner by complying with all OSHA and AbbVie guidelines relating to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety in the work environment.
    • Comply with all current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP).
    • Use proper tools for the job to minimize the introduction of extraneous matter (EM) into the packaging process.
    • Transfer finished product to the warehouse after ensuring all required system transactions and pallet traceability labels, or documentation are accounted for.
    • Ensure the floor is maintained in a neat, orderly, audit ready appearance.
    • Sunday - Thursday - 10:30pm - 7:00am.

    Qualifications

    List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10). Include education, skills and experience.

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g. CFR 210/211, cGMP) specifically.
    • Previous related work experience in a pharmaceutical production environment, including knowledge of related cGMP requirements and procedures is preferred.
    • Certified with various powered industrial lifts such as Fork Trucks, Hand Trucks, etc.
