    KPMG is currently seeking an Intern, Digital Nexus, Internal Innovation for Digital Nexus.

    Responsibilities :

    • Perform a variety of tasks related to generative AI model development and integration within the Internal Innovation organization, including but not limited to data preparation, model training, evaluation, research, facilitating AI-related workshops, presentations and communications
    • Conduct research and analysis to support the development and enhancement of generative AI models across various projects and functions; assist in the deployment and integration of generative AI models into existing business systems, ensuring they align with business strategies and high-level capacity planning
    • Support day-to-day operations by gathering, validating and entering data for AI model training and evaluation; assist in resolving AI-related business issues using data analysis and reporting tools; engage in continuous learning and application of new technologies and methodologies in the field of generative AI to enhance model performance and business value
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI models meet business requirements and deliver value
    • Document AI model development processes, experiments and findings and communicate progress and results to stakeholders through detailed reports and presentations
    • Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices in AI development, ensuring data privacy, fairness and transparency in all AI-related tasks and projects; operate with integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

    Qualifications :

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Human and Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Process Design and Engineering, Product Design, User Experience or equivalent program
    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
    • Basic technical skills to learn technology and help support IT staff and their clients
    • Basic knowledge of MS Office; strong knowledge of Excel and/or SharePoint preferred
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information
    • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving and organizational skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to build productive relationships with peers
    • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
