Destination Services Intern
- Responsibilities
A 2-3 month position, the Intern will work w/the Director, Global Destination Services. You will receive a brief training & overview of all IOR businesses w/a focus on Destination Services. Projects to include:
- Creating & updating IOR proprietary City Guides
- Working w/the Director of DS & Marketing to create real estate market overviews for various US and global cities
- Updating our proprietary consultant database
- Assisting w/special research projects on specific US & global markets.
- Qualifications
- Completed sophomore year of college
- International Business, International Studies, or Real Estate major (preferred)
- Team player, but also possessing the ability to work independently at times
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using technology; Competent using Windows XP; High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn IOR’s proprietary software systems
- International experience living/studying abroad (preferred)
- Desired skills
Detail oriented, positive attitude; proficient in a second language (or multiple) (preferred)
- CompensationCompensation for the internship will be discussed during the interview process. Based at our Northbook IL headquarters (and option to work remotely on certain projects), we are looking for approximately 20 hours/week for 2-3 months by the end of February 2015.
