    Job Description:

    The Application Systems Analyst is responsible for the strategic and operational management of corporate applications (Yardi, Nexus, SharePoint, etc.). The individual will work within a group environment to develop, maintain, monitor and enhance the performance and functionality of corporate applications to meet business objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform stabilization, break/fix and other maintenance activity (including system upgrades).
    • Provide user service and support.
    • Analyze requirements and develop functional and design specifications for Application enhancements (as required depending on availability of business analyst resources).
    • Develop, test and implement enhancements.
    • Develop and document plans, policy, standards, procedures and checklists.
    • Assess, design and provide application training.
    • Identify recommend and implement application solutions and improvements.
    • Write, review, and deploy database update scripts, stored procedures, triggers, or other related items as assigned.
    • Supervise contractors and projects as assigned.
    • Review invoices for usage and development of application and ensure accuracy.
    • Be an available point of contact for corporate applications.
    • Coordinate invoice reviews / approval with the accounting department.
    • Compile and keep all documentation related to application usage and functionality.
    • Coordinate and respond to audit requests from both the internal and external audit teams
    • Assist with maintenance, management, development, and support of all Ventas applications as required due to knowledge or resourcing considerations.
    • Work with Vendor support teams as necessary to meet changing application needs. Ensure compliance with software licensing.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Accounting or equivalent degree with experience
    • 2-5 years application management experience (maintenance and development), preferably in a real estate environment. The equivalent years of experience in an accounting role will also be considered.
    • IT-related certifications such as ITIL, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM preferred.
    • Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries and working with database scripts and stored procedures in a MS-SQL Server environment strongly preferred.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing preferred.
    • REIT, other real estate or Investment/Asset Management experience preferred.
    • Working knowledge of accounting concepts strongly preferred.
    • IT purchasing experience desirable.
    • Familiarity with the Yardi suite of products (Yardi Voyager, Yardi Facility Manager, Yardi Deal Manager, Yardi Forecast Manager, etc.), Longview, Vena, Nexus, and/or Concur desirable.
