This position also works with the Workforce Development Team to promote Shareholder and Descendant opportunities and hire. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop business relationships with Calista and their subsidiaries; maintain an understanding of current and future recruiting needs. Maintain an understanding of Calistas and their subsidiaries industries and the requirements of each position within. Work with managers throughout Calista and their subsidiaries to post jobs in ways that effectively reach out to qualified applicants. Ensure job postings meet federal, state, EEO, Affirmative Action, and OFCCP posting and compliance requirements for subsidiaries that engage in government contracting, Follow Company applicant tracking and requisition procedures (some administered through HRIS systems); ensure applicant tracking is up-to-date and recruitment files are maintained with all essential pieces. Screen the Shareholder and Descendant Talent Bank to identify candidates that may qualify for open positions; reach out to determine interest. Assist in interviewing, screening, recruiting shareholders/descendants to better match their experience with specific job-related requirements. Screen and route qualified candidates to hiring managers. Assist in the interview process; draft interview questions, schedule interviews, and attend interviews as necessary. Draft accurate offer letters and other recruitment related documents. Facilitate pre-employment processes: drug testing, background checks, etc. Follow-up with the related clerical aspects of employment; notify the department, benefits, and hiring manager of employee's start date and position, ensure the PAFs are complete, etc. Schedule and conduct new hire orientations following Calistas onboarding process. Process I-9s and other new hire paperwork. Provide exceptional levels of customer service and timely follow-up with applicants and internal customers. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state laws impacting recruitment and OFCCP guidelines. Participate in job fairs and community events. Communicate the "Promote from within" policy that employees can apply for any position for which they feel qualified. Draft recruitment and onboarding related SOPs and training documents. Participate in Company required training. Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Intermediate knowledge of the recruitment processes (job postings, job boards, candidate screening and selection, interviewing, etc.), best practices, and state, federal, and OFCCP compliance and ability to perform related tasks. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and confidentially process and maintain data with accuracy with minimal oversight. Basic computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Ability to enter data accurately into databases. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Effective oral and technical written communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate complex information to others as well as to present information in front of a group. Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc. Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas. Strong decision analysis and problem solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Calistas goals. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems. Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to follow a process. Ability to multi-task. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associates or Bachelors Degree strongly in HR Management preferred. Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience required. Experience using an HRIS system, Deltek experience preferred. Valid state drivers license and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of Calistas Driving Policy. Ability to pass a drug, driving and background screening. Ability to speak Yupik preferred. WORKING ENVIRONMENT Calista Corporation Human Resources team has a fast paced multi-tasking customer service oriented office environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Overtime may be required.
