Analyst, Real Estate Private Equity Grant Morgan Associates - Washington, DC $90,000 - $130,000 a year The Company: We have been retained by a prominent, prestigious, boutique real estate private equity firm to locate a high potential, motivated, hands-on quantitative financial professional to join the company in its Washington, D.C. headquarters. The firm has a 20-year history of successful real estate private equity investing in all tiers of the capital stack and across all major real estate asset classes. The office is located in a Metro-walkable downtown DC location. Position: This position will play an active role in all aspects of the acquisitions and asset management process and work directly with all members of the internal team, joint venture partners, financing sources and the brokerage community. This diverse, entrepreneurial role will provide exposure to a broad range of real estate products and investment structuring alternatives. This person will support the investment underwriting process, which will include but not be limited to financial, market analysis, debt analysis and physical due diligence. This person will be responsible for not only providing analytical support to the senior investment professionals but also writing investment memos to support investment recommendations to the investment committee. Specifically, the core responsibilities will include modeling complex acquisitions, lease analysis, due diligence, fund level analysis and ad-hoc projects. Candidate: * Relevant Bachelors Degree with strong academic results * Minimum 2 years of relevant real estate or financial quantitative experience. * Highly proficient modeling skills. * Genuine interest in the Real Estate industry. * Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to manage multiple transactions.
