Responsibilities: • Maintain the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, parking lots, and community buildings with meticulous care. • Ensure daily removal of trash from office areas and the apartment community perimeter. • Aid in preparing market-ready units by conducting trash outs in vacant apartments before make-ready. • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager promptly with assigned maintenance tasks. • Participate in cleaning available apartments and troubleshooting/repairing mechanical, carpentry, and electrical issues. • Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor in available apartments, models, clubhouse, and common areas. • Uphold curb appeal diligently and adhere to all company policies, goals, and values. • Present a professional image for the community both on and off the property at all times. • Deliver communication documentation to residents and support resident retention programs. • Immediately report any unsafe conditions and ensure they are rectified promptly. • Learn and comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations. • Perform snow removal duties when assigned and undertake other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager. Qualifications: • A high school diploma or equivalent certification is required for this position. • Proficiency with various hand tools and maintenance equipment such as blowers, chainsaws, edgers, and lawnmowers is necessary. • Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a crew member in landscaping for residential or commercial properties. • The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail. • Possession of a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to commute to and from the work site is mandatory.
