Our Ideal Leasing Consultant: What does a Mark-Taylor Leasing Consultant look like? You're passionate about the multi-family industry and excited to learn about the business from the ground-up! You have awesome communication skills, with a knack for presenting in front of others. You are a people-person who loves maintaining and developing relationships. You are service-oriented, always going above and beyond for those you serve. The Work You Do: ? Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria set forth by Mark-Taylor Residential ? Inspect models and available "market ready" apartment homes and communicate related service needs to the Manager and/or Service Manager. ? Demonstrates community and apartment and/or model by actively touring the community and amenities and apply product knowledge to future residents needs by communicating the features and benefits; close the sale. ? Guide future resident through the complete application, process application credit/criminal. Submit processed applications to the Community Manager for approval. Follow up with future resident regarding status. ? Ensure apartment home is ready for resident to move in on agreed date. ? Immediately follow up on prospects that did not lease and attempt to close the sale again. If unable to help prospect, refer them to sister communities that meet prospects needs. ? Secure new residents signature(s) on appropriate paperwork prior to move in. ? Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. ? Shop competitive communities ? Accept rental payments and process with Assistant Manager ? Actively manage apartment availability and pricing in order to successfully secure future leases. ? Type lease and complete appropriate paperwork and input information in Management Software system accurately and on a timely basis. Review with Manager prior to obtaining signatures. ? Maintain current resident files. ? Assist management team with other various tasks as required. ? Receive all telephone calls and in-person visits. Listen to resident requests, concerns and comments. ? Complete maintenance Service Requests and inform the service team. Answer questions for residents about community, repairs, rent, policies etc. Follow up on a timely basis if unable to respond to residents on all matters. ? Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community on continuing basis. ? Assist in planning and participating in resident functions as directed by the Community Manager.
