Position Description Marketing Intern Location Carlsbad Premium Outlets Employment Status Summer Intern City Carlsbad, CA Description: The Marketing Intern works closely with and under the direction of the Director of Marketing in the development and implementation of mall marketing programs, executions of community based programs, and retailer and community relations. This position assist in the preparation, coordination, collection, production, supervision and follow-up of promotions and events. Assists in maintaining the mall website, Social Media communications, and collateral material. Qualifications: - Must be able to work business hours Monday-Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Strong working knowledge of Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint - Effective communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills - Demonstrate effective conflict resolution and customer service skills for interaction with customers, tenants, and co-workers - Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative - Work well independently and as a team
