    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Multifamily Operations to oversee the operational management of our multifamily properties. As a senior leader within our organization, you will ensure the efficiency and success of our multifamily real estate portfolio. You will be responsible for shaping the strategic vision and operational success of our properties, driving financial performance, and leading a high-performing team to deliver top-tier results. This high-impact role requires a proven track record of multifamily operations, asset management, and leadership excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the multifamily portfolio, ensuring property performance, tenant satisfaction, and compliance with all regulations.
    • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and hold accountable cross-functional property management teams, fostering culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
    • Financial Performance: Manage financial performance, including Net Operating Income (NOI), budgeting, and expense management, while identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and value creation.
    • Portfolio Growth: Drive key operational metrics aligned with the asset’s business plan and collaborate with the CEO on strategies for rent growth, cost management, and market expansion.
    • Vendor Management: Develop relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal property operations.
    • Property Oversight: Support property management teams to meet occupancy, rent collection, and maintenance goals.
    • Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing Laws.
    • Marketing and Leasing: Develop and execute marketing strategies to maximize leasing traffic and improve conversion rates.
    • Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports on occupancy, financial performance, and operational metrics to senior leadership.
    • Travel: Regularly visit properties to ensure operational efficiency and address underperformance.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Education: BSc/BA in Business Administration or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in multifamily property management or asset management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large teams and diverse property portfolios.
    • Skills: Strong financial acumen, experience with property management software, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Leadership: Proven experience leading teams, driving NOI, and improving property performance.
    • Real Estate License: Required.

    Work Environment:

    Primarily office-based with regular travel to properties. Fast-paced, high-demand periods will require extended hours. The role demands frequent communication via phone and email, and occasional property inspections.

    Additional Information

    Pay: $150,000 - $200,000 (Annually)
