    Position Overview

    We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. This role will serve as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and visitors while also supporting administrative and accounting functions within the company. The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience working in accounting within the construction, architecture, or engineering industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet and welcome clients, guests, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and manage company emails.
    • Assist with basic accounting tasks, including invoicing, processing payments, and expense tracking.
    • Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
    • Support office operations by ordering supplies, coordinating mail distribution, and managing office calendars.
    • Assist with data entry, document preparation, and administrative tasks as needed.
    • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives.
    • Ensure the reception area and common office spaces are tidy and presentable.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting within a construction, architecture, or engineering firm.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Deltek, or similar).
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Positive and proactive attitude with a customer-service mindset.
