    Position Summary:

    As a Project Architect / Project Manager, you will take primary responsibility for managing and orchestrating the work of the entire design team, consultants, code enforcement officials, suppliers, and contractors. Acting as the primary contact for the Owner, you will also be responsible for identifying opportunities, pursuing commissions, negotiating contracts, and managing project finances. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

     

    Essential Functions:

    Design and Construction Documents:
    • Programming and planning

    • Conducting site and environmental analysis

    • Schematic design development

    • Engineering systems coordination

    • Building cost estimation and analysis

    • Code research and compliance

    • Design development and preparation of construction documents

    • Materials research and selection

    • Writing project manuals/specifications

    • Document checking and coordination

    Construction Contract Administration:
    • Proficiency with construction contracts (AIA and other standards)

    • Leading bidding and contract negotiations

    • Office-based construction phase administration

    • On-site construction observation and quality assurance

    Management:
    • Comprehensive project management, including planning, staffing, and resource allocation

    • Coordination of project documentation and approvals

    • Client relationship management

    • Marketing and business development

    • Financial management, including budgeting and monitoring project costs

    • Contract negotiation and compliance

     

    Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Proven ability to plan, organize, and direct complex projects

    • Strong leadership and coordination skills to manage multidisciplinary teams

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain client and team relationships

    • Expertise in documentation, submittals, approvals, and monitoring project progress

    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

     

    Education and Experience:

    • Licensed Architect (required)

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (required)

    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience (additional experience preferred)

    • Construction-related experience preferred but not required

    • Portfolio demonstrating relevant project experience (required)

    • References from clients, contractors, and consultants (required)

     

    Training and Development:

    • Comprehensive in-house training provided on office standards, Revit standards, and professional practices
