The Role – More Than Just Drafting
This is an opportunity to be at the heart of the design process, ensuring that projects move smoothly from concept through construction. As an Architectural Job Captain, you’ll be key in executing drawings, coordinating teams, and ensuring that all technical aspects align with project goals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Technical Coordination: Develop detailed construction drawings, ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning requirements, and brand standards.
- Project Execution: Collaborate with Project Managers and Architects to bring designs to life within fast-track schedules.
- Team Collaboration: Work with designers, engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of all project elements.
- Construction Administration: Review submittals, coordinate RFIs, and provide technical support during the construction phase.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in design documentation to facilitate permitting and construction.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of experience in architecture, with a strong background in commercial, hospitality, or QSR projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD – You know how to create accurate, high-quality drawings efficiently.
- Understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and zoning regulations.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills – You thrive in a collaborative environment.
