    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Project Manager with 15 to 25 years of working experience to join our team. This role requires hands-on management of complex multi-unit projects, including multifamily housing, student housing, commercial, or mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing the full project life cycle, from concept design through construction, and will possess the leadership skills to manage both teams and client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Management:

      • Manage and lead all phases of architectural projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
      • Oversee the design and execution of multi-unit projects, including multifamily, student housing, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
    • Collaboration:

      • Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
      • Coordinate with various stakeholders to handle project schedules, budgets, and construction administration.
    • Design Oversight:

      • Provide direction on design, planning, and specifications while maintaining quality and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
      • Ensure projects adhere to design intent and quality standards throughout all phases.
    • Mentorship:

      • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
    • Best Practices:

      • Implement and maintain best practices and project documentation for effective project management.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 15 to 25 years in architectural project management, focusing on multi-unit projects such as multifamily housing, student housing, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
    • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Basic working knowledge of Revit software is required.
      • Proficiency with project management tools and processes.
    • Knowledge: Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
    • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail Orientation: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with additional architectural software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
    • LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design practices.

    Project Work Distribution:

    • 45% Multi-family (50% of multifamily work is affordable housing)
    • 35% Civic and aviation projects
