Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Architectural Project Manager with 15 to 25 years of experience, specializing in aviation projects, to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on managing and delivering large-scale aviation projects, including concourse expansions, gate design, waiting areas, and terminal renovations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven ability to manage complex project lifecycles, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within aviation architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: - Lead all phases of aviation architectural projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
- Oversee design and execution of projects including concourse expansions, gates, waiting areas, and terminal renovations.
- Ensure alignment with project objectives, stakeholder needs, and operational goals.
Collaboration: - Work closely with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to manage project schedules, budgets, and construction administration.
Design Oversight: - Provide direction on design, planning, and specifications, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Maintain the design intent and uphold quality standards throughout all phases of the project.
Mentorship: - Mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Best Practices: - Implement and maintain best practices and project documentation to ensure effective project management.
Qualifications:
Required Experience: - 15 to 25 years in architectural project management, with a focus on aviation projects such as concourse expansions, gates, waiting areas, and terminal renovations.
- Strong understanding of airport operations, passenger flow, and facility design.
Education: - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
Technical Skills: - Basic working knowledge of Revit software.
- Proficiency with project management tools and processes.
Knowledge: - Expertise in building codes, regulations, and construction processes related to aviation projects.
Skills: - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of detail orientation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design practices.
- Experience with additional architectural software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
