    Job Title: Architectural BIM Manager

    Location: Maitland, Florida

    Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural BIM Manager to lead and manage our Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, extensive experience with BIM software, and a proven track record in managing BIM standards and workflows. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient execution of projects and the continuous improvement of our BIM practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    Create, Manage, and Organize BIM Standards

    • Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
    • Continuously review and update standards to align with industry best practices and technological advancements.

    Manage and Update BIM Library

    • Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of BIM libraries, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to project teams.
    • Ensure the library is comprehensive, containing all necessary families, components, and details for efficient project delivery.

    Communicate BIM Updates and Standards to Staff

    • Act as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related communications within the firm.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to keep staff informed of new standards, tools, and workflows.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for BIM-related issues.

    Create & Distribute BIM Execution Plans

    • Develop detailed BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for each project, outlining the specific processes, tools, and standards to be used.
    • Ensure BEPs are communicated effectively to all project stakeholders and are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

    Manage BIM360/ACC Project Accounts & Setup

    • Administer and manage Autodesk BIM360 and ACC project accounts, ensuring proper setup and configuration for all new projects.
    • Oversee user permissions and roles, ensuring secure and efficient access to project data.

    Key Decision Maker on Software, Workflows, and Standards

    • Evaluate and recommend BIM software and tools, ensuring they meet the firm’s needs and enhance productivity.
    • Develop and refine workflows to optimize efficiency and collaboration across project teams.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, implementing improvements where appropriate.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a BIM management role within an architectural firm.
    • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM360, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software.
    • Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols, including ISO 19650.
    • Excellent communication and training skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
