    About Us

    Seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Maintenance to lead our operations team. This role is ideal for a professional with extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise in aircraft engine maintenance, particularly the CFM 56 engine, coupled with a proven track record in management and leadership.

    Role Overview

    As the Director of Maintenance, you will oversee all aspects of maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, optimizing workflows, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You will lead and mentor a team of skilled technicians and be a key driver in advancing AIM’s reputation for excellence in aircraft engine maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operational Leadership: Direct and manage maintenance operations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards.
    • Team Development: Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Maintenance Oversight: Oversee inspection, diagnosis, disassembly, repair, reassembly, and testing of CFM 56 engines and other equipment.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all maintenance practices comply with FAA and industry standards, maintaining meticulous documentation.
    • Process Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety and quality outcomes.
    • Resource Management: Coordinate tool and equipment procurement, manage inventory, and oversee facility maintenance.
    • Communication & Reporting: Act as the liaison between technical teams and upper management, providing regular updates on maintenance operations and performance metrics.

    • Leadership Skills: Strong experience leading maintenance teams in a high-pressure environment.
    • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of CFM 56 engines and modular engine repair.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
    • Expertise in CFM 56 engine maintenance and repair.
    • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
    • Strong understanding of FAA regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field (preferred).
    • Experience in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organization.
    • Familiarity with lean maintenance practices and process improvement strategies.
