About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Civil Engineer Associate (EIT) to join our growing team in Austin. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an engineer with some experience to contribute to exciting projects and advance their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers and senior engineers in the design of various land development projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, water distribution, and wastewater collection systems.
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations.
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed drawings and models.
- Collaborate with other team members, including surveyors, drafters, and GIS specialists.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Contribute to the overall success of projects by adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
