    Responsibilities:

    • Project Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of public infrastructure projects, from planning and design to construction and closeout.
    • Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of civil engineering principles to design and oversee the construction of utilities, stormwater systems, roadways, and other public works projects.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, surveyors, and permitting expeditors.
    • Client Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
    • Software Proficiency: Utilize Civil 3D, Bentley StormCAD/CivilStorm, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS to develop accurate and efficient designs.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
    • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 4+ years of public infrastructure engineering design experience, with 2+ years in a Project Manager role or equivalent PE experience.
    • Licensure: Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas is required (or the ability to obtain within 3 months of the start date).
    • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources effectively.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D, Bentley StormCAD/CivilStorm, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
    • Teamwork: A strong desire to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
