Position: Construction Administrator
Location: Washington D.C.
Our client seeks a Construction Administrator to join their team in Washington, DC. Minimum 5-10 years of experience required.
You will:
- Architectural Degree, but does not have to be registered
- 5+ years of experience
- Software experience Proforma or Procore. Revit is not needed, but a bonus.
You have:
- Observe and document the construction process of active construction projects
- Prepare minute meetings at each construction meeting
- Capture pictures/video (if required) to document the construction process
- Initial review and process of RFI's and shop drawings
- Maintain RFI and submittal database
- Assist the Owner in obtaining all required project warranties and close-out documents
- Assist Owner/Project Manager in substantial completion review and approval
- Develop punch list documentation
- Assist in processing Change Orders and Supplemental Instructions
- Participate in on-site observations as required and develop Field Reports as required
- Monitor project schedules and budgets
- Interface with contractors and construction managers
- Provide Quality Control of construction documents
- Review and sign contractor's pay applications/schedule of values
- Assist with close-out documents
- Coordinate turning contractor's as-builts into Record Documents
- Upload documents to the Owner's FTP sites, as required
- Review design budget estimates
- Participate in post-occupancy warranty walks as requested by the Owner
- Prepare Certificates of Substantial/Final Completion as required
- Update marketing with overall project cost, contractor information, and job site photos
