Position Overview
As the Director of Marketing, you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing our company as a recognized leader in the U.S. water quality instrumentation market. This position offers a mix of creative leadership, hands-on campaign management, and strategic planning. You’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies that drive awareness, customer engagement, and demand across diverse industry sectors. Success in this role will rely on your ability to prioritize, balance creativity with analysis, and work cross-functionally within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Development and Leadership: Define and elevate our brand across all touchpoints to ensure a compelling story that resonates with U.S. audiences and beyond.
- Campaign Innovation & Execution: Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and experiential channels, enhancing visibility in key sectors such as municipal water treatment, food and beverage, and industrial applications.
- Customer-Centric Strategy: Use customer insights, data analytics, and segmentation to craft personalized marketing programs that reinforce our position as a trusted solutions provider.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and operations teams to align on business goals, using insights to inform marketing strategies and priorities.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Conduct ongoing research to stay ahead of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Event Strategy & Management: Lead the company’s presence at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to ensure impactful brand representation.
- Agency & Vendor Management: Build and manage relationships with external agencies, providing direction to produce high-quality campaigns aligned with brand objectives.
- Budget & Performance Optimization: Oversee the marketing budget to maximize ROI, regularly assessing campaign performance to refine strategies for continuous improvement.
- Customer Journey Mapping: Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey, creating programs that engage at every touchpoint and foster long-term loyalty.

- Experience: 10+ years in a marketing leadership role, ideally within industries such as municipal water treatment, industrial applications, or environmental technology. Proven success in expanding brand presence and driving measurable growth.
- Industry Insight: In-depth understanding of trends, dynamics, and regulatory considerations within sectors like municipal water and wastewater.
- Marketing Proficiency: Expertise in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing) and experience with CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive storytelling.
- Project & Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership & Team Building: Ability to inspire and guide a team, fostering an environment of growth and innovation.
- Flexibility for Travel: Willingness to travel for U.S. office visits and industry events, with an estimated commitment of 20-30%.
