    Environmental Professional (EP)

    Location: San Antonio, TX 

    Carlson, Brigance and Doering (CBD) is looking for an experienced Environmental Professional (EP) to join our San Antonio Team. Under the supervision of our Branch Manager, the Environmental Professional will be a Client Satisfaction Driven person and will also assist in conducting environmental assessments in compliance with ASTM-1527E 21 protocols, developing and managing an environmental project team for multiple projects, and other duties as needed.


    Basic Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or Engineering Fields from an accredited four-year college or university
    • 10+ years’ experience within the Environmental consulting field
    • Valid Texas driver’s license and good driving record
    • Ability to pass a background check


    Technical Requirements

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Good organization skills and the ability to multi-task multiple assignments
    • Perform fieldwork and have good working knowledge of various TCEQ environmental sampling protocols
    • Proven results in meeting internal or external client requirements for Scope, Schedule, Budget, and Quality.
    • Perform Phase I/II/III ESAs under the collaboration of senior management staff
    • Manage/Train project level personnel on various environmental projects
    • Produce well written technical reports and proposals
    • Manage project budgets and deadlines that are assigned and/or delegated to other staff members
    • Effectively communicate to fellow CBD staff, clients, contractors, or service vendors
    • Follow CBD Employee Manual and Safety requirements


    Physical and Working Conditions

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the principal duties and responsibilities of the Environmental Professional position.

    • Conducting fieldwork in multiple ambient conditions in Texas.
    • Walk, stand, crawl, kneel, climb, and perform repeated bending as needed when executing field work
