You have:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited school of architecture.
- Architectural licensure in practicing states or on track to become licensed preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years experiences.
- Understanding of and experience using Revit, SketchUp, Adobe CS, and AutoCad.
- Previous commercial, construction, and urban design experience.
- Previous interior design experience.
- Experience managing and coordinating integrated teams of associates, consultants, and fabricators for large and complex projects.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to multitask and work within a strong team environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of current construction costs.
- Knowledge and understanding of urban design, site design, entitlement procedures and current building codes.
- Knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques and related engineering principles.
You will:
As a Job Captain / Designer, you will be asked to contribute meaningfully to the design and development of projects; you will independently produce construction documents in a timely and efficient manner, with support from both senior and junior staff members; you will interact with team members and clients to insure smooth workflow and successful project delivery.
- Work with the Project Architect to outline goals, budget, timing, deliverables, project scope, and required resources.
- Oversee the management and coordination of clients, consultants, and integrated design team.
- Develop and communicate expectations on each project for achieving client satisfaction and holding the project team accountable for meeting or exceeding those expectations.
- Coordinate with local municipalities and building officials during the preparation of construction documents.
- Coordinate production effort with careful adherence to the design intent proposed.
