Job Description: Accounting Professional
Location: Luxus Build, Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $75,000–$80,000 per year
Luxus Build, a premier architectural design firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth financial and administrative operations of our firm. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Deltek Vantagepoint and possess a strong background in accounting, HR, and office management.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management (60% of your time) - Manage Accounts Payable: Receive, input, and process payments after approval.
- Handle Accounts Receivable: Receive and deposit payments.
- Cut and distribute checks as needed.
- Pay monthly loans and credit cards.
- Utilize Deltek Vantagepoint to manage financial records and processes.
HR and Staff Management (20% of your time) - Oversee the timesheet process and ensure timely submission.
- Coordinate payroll processing with a third-party provider.
- Track and manage employee benefit hours (holiday, sick, etc.).
- Administer employee benefits, including eligibility dates and paperwork, in collaboration with third-party providers.
- Manage the 401(k) program, including setup and maintenance.
- Maintain and organize employee HR files.
- Update and distribute the employee manual.
- Maintain a birthday calendar to celebrate employee milestones.
Proposals, Contracts, and Change Orders (10% of your time) - Track and generate proposals, contracts, and change orders.
- Assist in expanding this function to optimize efficiency and support the firm's growth.
Office Management (10% of your time) - Stock and manage office supplies to ensure a well-functioning workspace.
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally.
- Schedule and organize meetings as needed.
- Enforce and uphold office standards to maintain a positive work environment.
Purchasing and Property Management (Minimal Time Commitment) - Handle monthly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks.
- Process and cut checks related to IDG Purchasing and Properties.
Qualifications
- Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint or similar software is required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and HR management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with payroll and benefit management through third-party providers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic office environment.
