### **Position Overview**

We are looking for a dynamic **Senior Architect** who currently operates their own sole proprietorship focused on residential or commercial architecture. This position offers the chance to merge your established practice with KGA Architecture and step into a full-time senior leadership role within our team. The ideal candidate will bring a portfolio of successful projects, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a deep commitment to design excellence. This role is based in our Denver, CO office and is an exciting opportunity for an experienced architect to leverage KGA's resources while expanding their impact in the architectural field.

### **Key Responsibilities**

\- **Practice Integration**: Lead the successful transition of your current architectural practice into KGA Architecture, aligning clients, projects, and resources.

\- **Project Leadership**: Oversee the design and execution of residential and/or commercial projects from concept through completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

\- **Client Engagement**: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a key point of contact throughout all project phases.

\- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with KGA's multidisciplinary team, including project managers, designers, and consultants, to drive project success.

\- **Business Development**: Leverage your existing network and KGA’s resources to secure new projects, expand market reach, and contribute to the firm’s growth.

\- **Mentorship and Leadership**: Mentor junior architects and designers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

\- **Design Excellence**: Champion design innovation, sustainability, and best practices in all architectural projects.

### **Qualifications**

\- **Licensed Architect** with a minimum of 10 years of experience in residential or commercial architecture.

\- Proven track record of running a successful **sole proprietorship or small architectural practice**.

\- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of residential and/or commercial projects.

\- Exceptional design and project management skills, with experience overseeing projects from concept through construction.

\- Established network of clients, consultants, and industry professionals.

\- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including **AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite**.

\- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

\- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
