Amazon, one of the top 100 companies in the United States, has an immediate opening for Amazon Fulfillment Services is expanding its network of Vendor Flex nodes and is seeking an individual to help manage a day to day operation with a local vendor in Albany, GA. As a Vendor Flex Tier III Associate you will be overseeing day to day operations involving customer order shipments at a Vendor Flex location and additional duties as assigned. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment. Applicants must have a stable work history, hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent, read and write English fluently, and must be 18 years or age or older. Job Description: Support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, and assigning job duties Hold your team accountable to safety, quality, and productivity performance Deliver training/information to peers, hourly Associates, and senior management, both individually and in groups Own metric reporting for your site (safety, quality, 4x4) Travel as needed to various VendorFlex locations may be required Manage non inventory for site(s) assigned Maintain a working relationship with Amazon retail teams appropriate with your product line Maintain a working relationship with the host Vendor Know, understand, and follow all current SOPs Own training of all VF associates at your site o Ensure training is always up-to-date, especially TDR, for all associates Foster a culture of Safety first o This includes implementation of, and sustainment of, all Amazon NAFC Safety Policies Complete start-of-shift labor plan and hold team accountable to projected daily volume goal.
