    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Battery Sales Associate is responsible for promoting NAPA battery products in an assigned region. This position is a key contact point with wholesale customers and is accountable for deliveries and maintaining battery inventories while providing excellent service. A person in this position is a resource dedicated to revenue growth, customer expansion, and deeper market penetration that establishes NAPA as the premier battery supplier in the region.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Establishes and maintains good relationships.

    Coordinates outside sales activities among multiple stores.

    Maintains a comprehensive market development and expansion plan.

    Conducts deliveries in a consistent, safe and timely manner.

    Works with Regional Manager to execute sales plans.

    Performs other assignments and duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Valid Driver’s License required.

    High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.

    Must be able to pass DOT physical.

    Capable of operating TAMS point-of-sale system and cataloging.

    Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with people.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 130 pounds.

    Ability to stand and walk, or sit and drive, for entire work shift.

    Ability to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with use of stool or ladder when necessary.

    Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
