Position Details: The Account Coordinator will manage and coordinate all retail activities relating to the Cosmetics brand within the assigned locations. The Account Coordinator will serve as liaison for both the Belk Division Office and Cosmetics and will uphold the standards set forth by Belk Stores. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Meet or exceed annual division sales plan.Establish sales goals by store on a monthly basis; monitor, and adjust as necessary.Meet or exceed gross margin percent and dollarsEstablish and monitor associate Sales Per Hour goals, Units per Transaction goals and Credit Application goals (Makeover goals for cosmetics).Assist in recruitment and interviewing of sales associates in partnership with store Human Resources.Evaluate, recommend, and deliver associate training as necessary.Visit assigned stores regularly (minimum 3 days per week).Interact with sales associates, Area Sales Managers, and Store Manager in each store during visit.Maintain consistent verbal and written communication with Account Executive, appropriate store and division office merchandising staff.Attend all division office meetings and activities.Provide direction in visual merchandising concepts.Ensure timely floor setup for promotional events and seasonal business activity.Coordinate execution of in-store promotional events and contests.
