Description: The Prompt Planner is responsible for providing sales planning support to the South Sales Region utilizing the PROMPT system. Key responsibilities focus on developing an order for the South Sales Region utilizing the PROMPT system to build core business objectives. This will include promotion evaluation and customer pattern reviews for the Region. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS: * Working with Sales Operations to establish order development and processes. * Communicating results/opportunities to the Sales Team. * Working with the team to develop order processes to minimize waste. * Aligning with Key Account Teams to maximize efficient and profitable promotional activity. * Working with Sales Management on projects, as relates to the order. * Responsible for development of local PROMPT training and education for RSRs and Managers. * Supporting the sales operations to ensure order/volume for Key Initiatives, including Product Launches. * Communicating with Region's Sales Staff. * Identifying and communicating service voids/ working with the team to manage service patterns within the market area. * Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelors Degree in Business, and/or related business experience. * 3-5 years prior experience in sales management and operations. * Prior work with a sales and/or marketing department a plus. * Working knowledge of Margin Minder, PROMPT and AS400 systems. * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
