Ace Hardware & Home Center is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Portales, NM. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout.
Responsibilities:
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
Assist with restocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor
Requirements:
Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic math and computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent
