HR Service Center Assistant St. Louis, Missouri, United States of AmericaHuman ResourcesJob Id:REQ20014581Posted on:April 9, 2018 -POSITION SUMMARY The HR Service Center Assistant is primarily responsible for responding to Human Resources inquiries.This role will be a point of contact for employees, leaders and internal HR and benefit vendors.Assists employees in clarifying, interpreting and communicating company information around policies, practices and programs.Use technology to gather information, document issues and note resolution status.Research and resolve issues in a timely manner.Ability to identify issues requiring escalation to Tier II colleagues within the HRSC. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -Address inbound calls and emails from employees, leaders and HR regarding policies, procedures, benefits, compensation, payroll, HRIT and other general HR information. -Use technology to document issues and resolutions in customized database and report results to supervisor and or Tier II colleagues. Serve as HR system subject matter expert for employee information. -Perform administrative tasks including HRIS transactions, file scanning, faxing, written correspondence, NEO coordination. Serve as a resource to both internal and external sources for information. -Work collaboratively with other HRSC peers, HRBPs, COEs and external vendors to ensure best practices are shared. -Identify and escalate trends to facilitate action to remedy the issue. -Support department projects and initiatives as need through understanding of HRs mission and objectives. QUALIFICATIONS -High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree in Human Resources preferred -3-5 years relevant experience; must include Customer Service; Human Resources experience preferred -General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet and email; Workday knowledge preferred -Strong verbal and written communication; -Advanced problem solving skills. -General knowledge of HR Generalist functions.
