Market Investigator Loss Prevention Milwaukee Wisconsin Family Dollar 11,768 reviews - Milwaukee, WI General Summary: The Market Auditor is accountable for leading the Loss Prevention initiative in their market of responsibility. Markets typically consist of between 10 to 25 stores and, generally, are located in the Companys urban markets. The Market Auditor is responsible for confirming that the markets store operations and daily functions comply with Company programs and policies. Monitor and measure store process performance in these categories: Office/Cash Sales, Checkpoint compliance, Physical Security, Safety and Personnel Training and Development. Provide on-going in-store training and development of store Associates. This position will report directly to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager for that particular Market and will interface frequently with Field Managers and Corporate Business Partners. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Establish partnerships with the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, the stores Field Manager(s), and the store teams. 2. Conduct Bi-weekly LP Audits and score store performance based on specific criteria. Report audit findings to Store Manager, Field Manager and Regional Loss Prevention Manager. 3. Based on store audits, advise and train the store team on correcting any and all violations identified. 4. Train Store teams on Family Dollar procedure and compliance to include: Cash Management, Checkpoint Compliance, Physical Security, Safety, Robbery Prevention and Product Freshness. 5. Proficiently use exception reporting. 6. Partner with the Store Support Center to monitor store merchandise and cash losses for the store within the market. 7. Conducts in store surveillances using the stores CCTV system to identify internal issues, safety concerns, fines, lost sales, etc. 8. Conduct investigations as needed. 9. Use Family Dollars prescribed interview methods when interviewing Associates. 10. Complete thorough and professional case reports using the LPMS report writing system provided. 11. Monitor and manage Districts Target Program and weekly exception reporting to improve the markets store inventory results. 12. Regularly inspect the stores Asset Protection Equipment to confirm the equipment is in good working order and is being used effectively. The Asset Protection Equipment includes the following: CCTV, Interactive CCTV, Exit Alarms, Burglar Alarms, Safes, Drop Boxes and Checkpoint EAS. 13. Assist with special projects that impact the market and any other projects/duties as assigned. Qualifications Position Requirements: Education: Completion of high school or equivalent; college preferred. Ability to read, interpret and explain to others operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc.) Experience: Must have a minimum of two years of prior Loss Prevention experience. Must be experienced in conducting interviews/investigation and auditing. Multi-store LP experience preferred. Field experience in local market and/or loss prevention training a plus. Previous experience facilitating large group training sessions a plus. Requirements: Proven organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have integrity interview training. Must have Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access). Ability to travel locally and overnight as needed. Must have a Valid Drivers License. Availability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
