About the Role:

Are you passionate about flooring and design? Ace Hardware & Home Center is seeking a Flooring & Design Specialist to join our team in Portales, NM. As a specialist, you will play a key role in assisting customers with their flooring and design needs, providing expert advice and guidance to help them create their dream spaces.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting the right flooring materials and designs for their homes or businesses

Provide expert knowledge and advice on different types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet

Create and present design proposals to customers, incorporating their preferences and budget

Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless execution of design plans

Maintain a clean and organized showroom, showcasing the latest flooring products and designs

Requirements:

Prior experience in flooring sales or design preferred

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their applications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer projects simultaneously

Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for design

Basic Computer Skills preferred
