    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician III (Second Shift)

    Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineering Technician III will support production by developing processes, coordinating builds, troubleshooting, improving methods, training, researching/implementing equipment, and maintaining labor standards. This is a second shift position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and improve manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and inspection
    • Coordinate builds, including scheduling, material procurement, and equipment set up
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions
    • Improve methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs
    • Train and direct other technicians as needed
    • Research and implement new equipment or processes to improve production
    • Maintain and update product records and documentation
    • Read and interpret advanced engineering documents, such as schematics or diagrams
    • Assemble and disassemble products as needed
    • Perform intermediate mechanical work as needed
    • Comprehend and use product/process component datasheets
    • Learn advanced computer applications as needed
    • Research, tabulate, and summarize data to support decision-making
    • Work with little or no supervision

    Requirements:

    • A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience
    • Minimum three years of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling correspondence with internal departments, vendors, and customers
    • Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes and electronic components
    • Thorough understanding of test equipment and methods (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc….) and knowledge of advanced test equipment (logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
    • Hands-on experience troubleshooting to identify root cause
    • Ability to read advanced engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams
    • Ability to assemble and disassemble products
    • Ability to perform intermediate mechanical work
    • Ability to train or direct other technicians
    • Ability to learn advanced computer applications
    • Ability to research, tabulate, and summarize data
    • Ability to work with little or no supervision

    This is a full-time position with second shift hours.
