Retail Crime (ORC) Analyst works closely with field investigators and store security teams to assist and support them in the investigation process. Entry-level executive position/Introduction to Retail Security/Asset Protection. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Functions: Manage statistical reporting and analyze loss and fraud exposure to the division. Daily review and analysis of various exception reports to easily identify, track, and manage potentially fraudulent point of sale. Assist in the creation of new exception reports in response to current theft and fraud trends. Due diligence and on-line research of Organized Retail Crime. Assist in coordination of high profile investigations including research, evidence and document preparation as well as liaison for law enforcement Represent the company in legal proceedings and participate in fraud association meetings with other retailers. Qualifications: ** ** Education/Experience: ** ** Bachelors degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience.**** Communication Skills: ** ** Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals. ** ** Mathematical Skills: ** ** Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. ** ** Reasoning Ability: ** ** Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions.
