    Job Description

    This role is a unique hybrid of business and technical consultant with the ability to operate as a digital tech lead focusing on solutioning for Consumer Data Platforms (CDP) such as Adobe Experience Platform. As the steward of the CDP platform within your ecosystem, this person is responsible for the successful onboarding and overall technological direction for those clients and works as a liaison between the account management and operations team to design and deliver high quality, scalable technical solutions. The successful candidate will be able to display thought leadership, technical prowess, and the ability to manage cross-division, cross-functional teams from project inception to completion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive business, marketing, functional and technical requirements to create and present comprehensive and scalable solutions to technical and business stakeholders with a focus on Consumer Data Platform as a service within an Enterprise.
    • Drive adoption of CDP platform through demonstrating technical prowess and practical applications as you scope and drive sound, scalable architectural solutions that deliver measurable, relevant digital experiences at scale.
    • Architect data feeds, design platform configurations and components needed to run complex automated campaigns.
    • Effectively work to deliver results in a highly matrixed organization; however, partners closely with product management, technical leadership, project or program management and analysts.
    • Works with and/or implements data integrations (in CDP platform) in support of Client customer use cases and journeys.
    • Ensures alignment of business requirements with Merkle standards and policies, and with industry best practices.
    • Proactively identifies and resolve issues related to overall platform performance from data ingestion to data distribution.
    • Stays abreast of industry technology innovations, new business practices, and third-party technology solutions.
    • Identifies, creates, enhances internal systems/processes and services based on recurring client requests and/or evolving industry standards.
  • Qualifications

    Key Skills and Experience

    • 3+ years' hands-on experience with marketing data
    • 2 year min. implementation experience with CDP and MDM
    • Certified Expert (examples: Adobe Experience Platform - RTCDP, ActionIQ, Salesforce CDP, Oracle Unity CDP, Segment, Lytics or more)
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science/Computer Engineering
    • Experience with marketing campaign design and implementation across channels (e.g. email, site, ads, social)
    • Experience with activation platforms and concepts (e.g. CMS, DAM, ad serving)
    • Solid understanding of data security/privacy best practices
    • Solid understanding of:
      • Software development and agile delivery
      • Platform architecture with focus on data ingress and egress
      • XDM & Mix-Ins (for data modelling)
      • Relational database concepts, with exposure to SQL
      • Data management, segmentation, ETL best practices
      • Scripting and query development
      • Data processing – API, Batch. Specifically – using tools such as Swagger to build and present data relationships across solutions
    • Ability to take initiative as well as lead, motivate, and oversee teams to produce results

    Additional Information

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000 - $152,375. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
