    Job Description

    The Specialist, Digital Activation oversees the daily management of campaigns and providing direction and development to Media Coordinators and Media Assistants. You will report to a Sr. Specialist, Digital Activation. You will work with the other members of our client service organization to ensure success on client campaigns from across dentsu. You will be the overseer of the tactical negotiations, buying and implementation process and will provide mid-level strategic recommendations to the planning team that will be presented to brand clients. You will include both client service responsibilities and hands-on-keyboard campaign management.

    You will:

    • Be the daily internal client contact responsible for communicating pace and performance, optimizations, troubleshooting, campaign launches, and reporting
    • Request for Proposal (RFP) management and communication, Specialist will work with Sr. Specialist/Supervisor to provide clients with strategic cross channel recommendation
    • Analyze data, interpret, and communicate insights from multiple sources to make complex optimizations to enhance pace and performance
    • Troubleshoot campaign set up, tag management, brand safety set up, performance and pace fluctuations
    • Contribute to strategic growth of account through generating insights and operational/technology-driven efficiencies
    • Help compile essential deliverables for wrap up reporting including reporting and analysis, insights, and visualization
    • Analyze audience data and activate against it cross channel and throughout multiple platforms
    • Oversee partner communication and deliverables including managing IOs, fees, discrepancies, and reconciliation

    Media Buying and Execution:

    • Contribute to the negotiation process with site vendors, based on individual Brand needs (as defined by Brief, DBA) and campaign goals yearly
    • Work with Planning & Insights team to conduct market research and compile information for media plans
    • Work with Analytics & Planning team on media goals to determine campaign measurements and to improve strategy execution
    • Work with Ad Ops to ensure tagging and creative agency needs are met for campaign launches
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 0-2 years industry experience
    • 1+ years of experience in analytics, data, and Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, and formulas)
    • Interest in Digital Media Planning and tactics

    Additional Information

    For positions not eligible for incentive or commission plans: The anticipated salary range for this position is ($45,000-$50,000). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
