SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:
Store Inventory Specialists are dedicated to managing, tracking and recording the flow of inventory in and out of the company, especially to / from all NAPA stores and from GPC Distribution Centers. This position provides multi-dimensional monitoring, tracking, recording and verification of inventory to assure accuracy of all transactions. Specialists maintain records to reconcile DC billing to stores, review RGNs from stores and enter all credits from all stores as they come from DCs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Position may include additional functions not listed.)*
Verifies accuracy of all inventory transactions and reconciles Distribution Center (DC) billings to stores.
Assist with factory direct purchasing.
Assists stores with establishing and maintaining stocking levels.
Reconcile and resolve all rebate discrepancies between Dyna Parts, DCs and/or manufacturers.
Oversee/ monitor and track all over, short and damaged transactions.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Required knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, etc.)• Valid Driver’s License required. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet driving requirements set by Dyna Parts.• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.• Basic skills in Microsoft office.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated.PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
Ability to move engine blocks, core barrels, and other heavy equipment using moving aids designed to move such items, includinghand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
Ability to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves, with use of stool or ladder when necessary.
Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
