Material Handler/Order Builder (Night Shift) - W Silver Eagle Distributors 120 reviews - San Antonio, TX 78237 Major Duties and Responsibilities Using an electric pallet jack, voice pick system and forklift, load per the Load Sheet, and off-load package, draught and box trucks according to Anheuser-Busch and Company Code Date Policy and material handling procedure. Store received product in warehouse according to Anheuser-Busch and Company Code Date Policy and procedure. Column stack product by hand to maximize effective utilization of space on Route Trucks. Hand stack mixed pallets of product as required. Repack damaged product for resale. Report obvious vehicular mechanical/safety problems to supervisor and/or fleet Department. Clean truck bays by sweeping them out at least once a week or as needed. Help maintain clean, safe working environment at all times. Adhere to strict safe working practices, Company policies, rules, regulations, correct obvious hazards immediately or report to supervisor if not immediately correctable. Other job duties as assigned. Drive package and draught trucks to and from loading area as required and properly park trucks in staging area. Minimum Qualifications Able to read, write and speak English. High School diploma or GED required. One (1) year directly related experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Must handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C Guidelines. Working Conditions Weather - All weather conditions (indoor & outdoor) including high temperatures , cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow. Lighting Conditions - Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions. Environment - Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes. Work Hours - Work hours will vary daily due to business needs. Physical Requirements Talk, hear, see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus). Continuous standing and walking. Continuous lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 20-161 lbs Must be able to do repetitive lifting of various packages and weights up to, but not exceeding 200lbs.
