Sales Specialist II #1C Silver Eagle Distributors L.P. 118 reviews - Houston, TX Position Summary: Uses proven sales tools and techniques to achieve Team sales quotas on assigned accounts. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Takes inventory at assigned accounts and makes recommendations of each account"s product needs and to maintain properly stocked inventory levels. Sells in displays, new products and packages, draught placements, shelf facings, POS, and price points. Follows and enforces Anheuser Busch equity agreement and other supplier contract Code Date policies. Merchandises while at each account to ensure proper code dates, restocks merchandising of all corporate products including restocking to avoid out-of-stock, making minor legal space adjustments, building displays, installing, placing and providing P.O.S. and pricing product as allowed by retailers. Provides effective communication with Drivers and Merchandisers to ensure closure of sales, maintaining good customer relations and a decisive competitive edge in order to maximize sales. Completes all administrative duties: Verify Sales Reps truck inventory, Mobility route book entries, syncing on a timely basis as specified by the company, and other duties specified by company management. Notifies Area Sales Manager of all pertinent changes in the retail trade to include: file maintenance, license updates, route scheduling, competitive activity, and other requirements require by management. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor"s degree preferred. Two (2) years directly related sales and marketing experience required. Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a strong plus. Able to obtain and maintain T.A.B.C. permits. Class A-CDL Driving record within MVR policy guidelines. - No license revocation, suspension, DUI/DWI, careless or reckless driving. Must be able to push 300 lb dolly load and move 161 lbs kegs. Must handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C Guidelines. Must have a cell phone with data capability. Working Conditions: Lighting Conditions - Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions. Weather - All weather conditions (indoor & outdoor) including high temperatures , cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow. Work Hours - Work hours will vary daily due to business needs. Physical Requirements: Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus). Continuous standing and walking, up to 8 hours at a time. Continuous lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 20-161 lbs. Ability to operate a two or four wheel dolly. Must be able to push 300 lbs dolly load and move 161 lbs kegs. Must be able to operate a forklift and a pallet jack. Frequent driving distances between 0-75 miles in one sitting. Frequent climbing, pushing, pulling and maneuvering dolly, hand truck, bay roll up doors, straps, curb ramps, truck doors, boxes, cases, kegs, truck gear shift. Must be able to pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen. Must be able to shift a manual transmission vehicle. Supervision: Position reports directly to assigned Region Manager.
