    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Tax Manager to oversee all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, and planning. This role is accountable for ensuring tax compliance across jurisdictions while proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and process improvements. The Tax Manager will work closely with finance leadership, business leaders, and external advisors to drive tax strategy and support business initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the preparation and review of all federal, state, local and international tax filings.
    • Manage the tax provision process and reporting under GAAP (ASC 740).
    • Partner with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure accurate and timely filings.
    • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the organization.
    • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize risk and optimize tax positions.
    • Lead global transfer pricing strategy, implementation, and compliance across legal entities.
    • Manage tax audits, inquiries, and disputes with tax authorities at all levels.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax implications of business initiatives, M&A activity, and operational changes.
    • Design, implement, and oversee internal controls and processes to enhance tax reporting efficiency and accuracy.
    • Leverage tax automation tools and data analytics to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency.

    Work Environment:

    • Typical office environment with occasional extended work hours as needed.
    • Hybrid work flexibility (on-site and remote).
    • Minimal travel required.
  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master's in Taxation preferred.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in tax, preferably in both public accounting and corporate environments.
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws, regulations, and tax accounting (ASC 740).
    • Experience with tax provision software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor, OneStream, OneSource).

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience working with large datasets.
    • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
    • High professional standards and integrity.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
